West Yellowstone Garden Club

The West Yellowstone Garden Club came out to Yellowstone Nature Connection for a fun-filled afternoon planting our Fire Ecology Native Plant Garden on the campus. Last fall they had installed the foundation of the garden, and our Master Gardener figured that June 15th would be a good day for planting. There are shrubs, grasses, flowers, and ground covers in the garden and they also planted six quaking aspen trees.

We want to thank West Yellowstone Garden Club for an awesome job. A special thanks to Peggy and Mark Petroni for getting the group together and for the pizza and tasty drinks afterwards.

If you know of friends who would like to volunteer for other projects this summer, please go to this page: http://yellowstonenatureconnection.org/volunteers/

Thank you!
